Goober Pyle has fallen head over heels. The object of his affection is Flora Malherbe, the new waitress at the local diner. From the moment he sees her, Goober is completely smitten. He believes this might finally be love.

One day, Goober invites Andy to join him at the diner, eager to show off the girl who has captured his heart. But something unexpected happens. Flora immediately takes a liking to Andy.
